What a great way to finish off the year! Congratulations to Star, from Orchard Manor School and her handler who last week passed their accreditation, thus making Star an officially accredited School Therapy Assistance Dog
Star loves her role as a Therapy dog in school, supporting the pupils in their day to day lives throughout the school day with tasks such as reading, emotional support and confidence building. We look forward to hearing more on Star's story in the future and the life changing difference she will make to the young people.
Star works at an SEN school with pupils from age 3-19. She has been trained in a wide variety of supportive tasks to aid and assist the pupils throughout the school day.
