A big congratulations to Blu, from S-Fit School and his handler who last week passed their accreditation, thus making Blu an officially accredited School Therapy Assistance Dog.
Despite disruptions throughout his training due to covid over the past couple years, Blu passed with flying colours! Blu absolutely loves his role as a Therapy dog in school, supporting the pupils in their day to day lives throughout the school day with tasks such as emotional support, helping with transitions and accompanying students on off-site visits. It's been so lovely to see Blu grow into the wonderful dog he is and we look forward to hearing more on Blu's story in the future and the life changing difference he will make to the young people.
